Since it’s establishment in 2001, Oahu Publications, Inc. has emerged as Hawaii’s major print media company. OPI’s flagship publication is Honolulu Star-Advertiser, established in 2010 when Honolulu Star-Bulletin (est. 1882) and The Honolulu Advertiser (est.1856) merged to become one daily newspaper after OPI purchased The Honolulu Advertiser from Gannett Corporation.
In addition to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, OPI owns and publishes a diverse group of products—including MidWeek, three Military papers, various specialty products, as well as luxury and hotel magazines.
OPI also offers advertisers a full spectrum of custom printing services, insert, and direct mail options. No other media source comes close to reaching as many Hawaii consumers. OPI’s versatile product portfolio allows advertisers to reach the masses, zero in on specific zip codes, or target specific niche markets.
